BLET reaches tentative agreement with Bombardier for MARC engineers

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio, January 26 — The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) has reached a tentative agreement with Bombardier Transportation Services (BTS). The agreement covers rates of pay, benefits and work rules for 15 members who work for Bombardier’s Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) passenger line operating between Martinsburg, W.Va. and Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, Md.

For the purposes of collective bargaining, the BTS/MARC members are represented by the BLET’s CSXT-Northern Railroad Lines General Committee of Adjustment. The GCA is conducting the ratification balloting of the membership. Ballots are due on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Members who are eligible but have not received a ballot by Friday, January 29, should request a replacement ballot by contacting Office Manager Jason Eldridge at (904) 543-8101, ext. 0, or
