FRA kicks off Chicago to Omaha passenger rail study

GALESBURG, Ill. — The Federal Railroad Administration, in cooperation with the Iowa Department of Transportation, is kicking off the Chicago to Omaha Regional Passenger Rail System Planning Study. One of five routes under consideration is the California Zephyr route. The California Zephyr stops in Galesburg twice each day.
