While some states roll ahead with high-speed rail plans, Wisconsin idles

MADISON, Wisc. — While states such as Illinois and Michigan move ahead with plans for high-speed rail, Wisconsin is stuck in the siding. Rail supporters argue it is detrimental to the state’s economic fortunes.
