Amtrak station reopens after passengers detained and released

(First Coast News posted the following article on its website on September 5.)

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- About six passengers were detained at the Amtrak station. Witnesses say the passengers were acting suspicious. The train station is back open.

There were some tense moments late last night and early this morning. Train Number 92 was held up for hours. Some passengers say there were a group of people acting suspicious -- going back and forth of the train and their luggage -- and not taking anything out. This alarmed some who called the authorities.

Police searched the train and found nothing. They questioned the men detained and then let them go on to their destination. The train left around 2:30 a.m.
