Rail security efforts don’t always target greatest threats, report says

NEWARK, N.J. — The Transportation Security Administration, tasked with protecting the nation's rail systems, doesn't know where the highest risks are, according to a government watchdog report. The Government Accountability Office said inspectors from the Department of Homeland Security agency have yet to identify the highest-risk locations and entities to concentrate their efforts on.
