House Transportation Committee talks funding for modernizing U.S. railways

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The House Committee on Transportation subcommittee met Thursday to discuss modernizing railways in the United States. Specifically, the allocation of funds to make improvements to the Amtrak Northeast Corridor route and the construction of California’s high-speed rail project.
