Houston-Dallas high-speed rail has one-third of land needed for route

HOUSTON — A report by the Houston Chronicle shows the Houston-Dallas bullet train project has kicked into high gear. On February 7, the company planning the high-speed train announced it had reached agreements to purchase nearly one-third of the land needed for the route.
