Riders face delays along Northeast corridor

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Travelers along Amtrak’s Northeast corridor should expect delays on Acela Express and Northeast Regional trains, changes made after law enforcement discovered a backpack filled with explosive devices late Sunday at a station in Elizabeth, N.J. One of the devices exploded as authorities were disarming it at 12:30 a.m. Monday, but no injuries were reported.
