Amtrak, hospitals to participate in mass-casualty simulation in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — An exercise Saturday at the Wickford Junction Station in North Kingstown, which is closed on weekends, will simulate a mass-casualty incident involving multiple agencies.
Providence and North Kingstown police, in coordination with Amtrak, the Providence Emergency Management Agency, the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency and the Greater Providence Metropolitan Medical Response System, will train for an incident involving passenger trains.
