Small bomb found on NS tracks in Conneaut, Ohio

CONNEAUT, Ohio — A small bomb about the size of a package of cigarettes was found on Norfolk Southern tracks in Conneaut, Ohio, this past weekend. While it likely would not have caused damage to a train, it could have damaged a passing car or injured a pedestrian had it exploded. Police and fire officials retrieved and detonated the device.
