Sen. Harry Reid urges California not to abandon high-speed rail

SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco Chronicle reports that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said that it would be "short-sighted" to abandon high-speed rail plans in California. Some lawmakers are showing concern over the multi-billion dollar project.
