California high-speed rail cost projections increase

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — According to the Associated Press, environmental impact reports expected to be released today show that track construction costs for California's high-speed rail project are projected to be $2.9 billion to $6.8 billion more than predicted in a 2009 business plan.
