Editorial: Amtrak privatization plan not ready to leave the station

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A plan rolled out in the Republican-controlled House to offer Amtrak's Northeast Corridor to private operators is not ready to leave the station.
The Philadelphia Inquirer editorial says that the direction Congress mapped out for Amtrak three years ago still looks like the best route to better rail service for the region.
