NJ Transit to use text messages to help fight terror

NEWARK If you see something, text something.

NJ Transit police have taken a new approach to the slogan which has become a mantra for law enforcement in the post 9/11 world. On Wednesday, NJ Transit became one of a few transit police agencies that has a system for riders to text them if they see a suspicious package, bag or behavior, said Police Chief Christopher Trucillo.
