JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. ó An American high-speed rail delegation has returned after spending last week examining Spainís train system.

Missouri state Rep. Charlie Schlottach, an Owensville Republican, said Monday that the group spoke with officials about the development of Spainís high-speed rail system. The delegation examined expansion plans and rode a train from Madrid to Barcelona.

Schlottach is the chairman of the Midwest Interstate Passenger Rail Commission.
