Merger information website now online

CLEVELAND, August 4 -- A web page designed to provide details regarding the proposed merger that would create the second largest transportation union in the AFL-CIO, the United Transportation Union-Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, is now online.

The web page is a joint effort of the two unions involved in the proposed unification, the BLE and the UTU, and is designed to provide members and officers of both unions with complete and accurate information regarding the proposed merger. It will also be updated regularly with answers to pertinent membership questions and other information regarding the proposed joining of the two organizations.
