Members encouraged to attend DOT seminar on Landrum-Griffin Act

CLEVELAND, March 9 -- The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), will conduct a one-day seminar on the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959 (also known as the Landrum-Griffin Act). The seminar will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 21, at:

The seminar will cover a detailed explanation of the completion of the Department of Labor's Form LM-2, LM-3 and LM-4 financial reports and the federal rules for the election of union officers. Invitations are being sent to more than 500 labor organizations in northwest Ohio, so BLE members planning to attend should make reservations as soon as possible.
