The training will be available in secure online forums using Adobe Connect virtual collaboration tools, and will eventually be accessible across different platforms and devices. Training can be done at the user's own pace during their free time. Once a member enrolls they will receive an email information package from the BLET Education and Training Department on how to access the material. Currently, users must access these modules using a laptop or desktop computer, but in the future the training will be available using tablets.
This training will be available for the current Local Chairman of record. The Education and Training Department will check for the current LC using the 2018 Triennial Election Reports from all Division Secretary-Treasurers. Each LC will receive an email from the Training Support that will inform them that they have been entered into the system and will contain your user ID and a temporary password. Once you log into the system you will be prompted to change this password to something different of your choice. This email will also notify you that you have been enrolled in the online training and contain the link that you need to access the material.
If for some reason you have not received this email you need to first check that your email provider did not divert it to your junk or spam folder. You should also ensure that the 2018 triennial election results have been submitted to the National Division by your Secretary-Treasurer. You may also need to ensure that the National Division has accurate contact information, especially your email address, in UnionTrack. If for some reason you feel we do not have accurate contact information for you please contact Kim Kennedy in the Records Department via email at kim@ble-t.org to make any changes so we can make the adjustments in the training system.
Any additional concerns or questions can be addressed by contacting Director of Education and Training Jason Wright at TrainingSupport@ble-t.org.
