Amtrak switch issues causes cancellations, delays in Boston

BOSTON — Several Commuter Rail trains on the Providence/Stoughton are canceled or delayed Friday morning. Some are also making additional stops to accommodate passengers. According to the MBTA, the problems trace back to an Amtrak switch issue and train traffic near Canton Junction.
