Connecticut officials say higher Metro-North costs not justified

HARTFORD, Conn. With Connecticut facing the prospect of sharply higher costs for Metro-North service, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Sen. Richard Blumenthal on Thursday both publicly proclaimed that fare increases wouldn't be justified.
