Crews checking for equipment malfunction in Slinger train derailment

SLINGER, Wisc. Railroad crews are checking whether equipment malfunction or another emergency on a Wisconsin & Southern Railroad Co. train might have caused a two-train collision and derailment in the center of the village Sunday, a Wisconsin & Southern spokesman said Monday.
