Workers at Greenbrier Rail Services vote to join union

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. Employees at Greenbrier Rail Services have unionized. The vote to do so was 19-12 on Wednesday. Joining the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1920 chapter in North Platte required a total of 17 votes in favor of the move. Greenbrier, located just east of Hershey, makes and refurbishes wheel and axle sets for trains.
