Thune, Johnson see improved freight rail service, urge railroads to do more

WASHINGTON, D.C. — South Dakota lawmakers say BNSF and Canadian Pacific need to do more to restore service back to normal for area shippers, with the state’s lone Democrat in Washington pushing the regulatory body overseeing the country’s railroads to take more action if things do not improve soon.
