Witnesses tell STB that oil by rail hurting farmers, travelers

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Midwestern farmers and Amtrak passengers are among those being hurt by rail congestion caused in part by an energy boom that has spurred the massive movement of oil by rail, witnesses told the U.S. Surface Transportation Board (STB) at a hearing on Thursday.
