Amtrak boss urges higher speeds on Northeast Corridor

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Amtrak's planned new Acela Express trains will carry more passengers and be more reliable than the current ones, even if they won't travel much faster, Amtrak president Joseph Boardman said Thursday.
