Bankruptcy judge approves $15.85 million sale of Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway

BANGOR, Maine -- On January 23, U.S. Bankruptcy Louis Kornreich formally approved the tentative sale of the Montreal, Maine and Atlantic Railway to Railroad Acquisition Holdings LLC, an affiliate of New York-based Fortress Investment Group, for $15.85 million. The deal is expected to close by mid-March.
