Lac-Megantic residents speak of 'psychological distress' as first trains since devastating explosion roll through town

LAC-MEGANTIC -- Harder for some to swallow were the three letters emblazoned on the side of the locomotive: MMA. The Montreal, Maine & Atlantic Railway, now in bankruptcy protection and expected to soon have new owners, is blamed by many here for the disaster. The U.S.-based railway had a reputation for cutting corners, and the derailment occurred when an unmanned parked train loaded with volatile Bakken crude oil rolled out of control down into Lac-Mégantic.
