NJ Transit awards $17 million for Sandy recovery

NJ Transit is preparing to officially launch its superstorm Sandy "Disaster Recovery Program" on Wednesday by awarding an additional $17 million to firms that already have open contracts with the Newark-based agency, spokesman John Durso Jr. said Monday.
