BNSF sees railroad transformation potential in switch to natural gas

HOUSTON — Fort Worth-based BNSF Railway is looking at a fuel switch to natural gas for its locomotive fleet that could be as transformative as the change from steam locomotives to diesel 60 years ago, said company chairman and CEO Matt Rose.
