Union Pacific's Powder River Basin coal loadings dropped in October

In October, Union Pacific Railroad loaded 843 coal trains in the Southern Powder River Basin compared with 1,047 trains in October 2011. In addition, the Class I announced it loaded 246 coal trains in the Colorado/Utah Region versus 267 trains in the year-ago period.
