Mass. finalizes $100 million deal to buy tracks from CSX

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — The state announced Thursday that it has completed its $100 million purchase of the Framingham/Worcester line and other area tracks, an “historic” deal legislators say will lead to more trains, better service and fewer delays.
