Farm bill study of captive rail shippers passes Senate

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The pricing complaints of captive agriculture shippers, or railroad customers dependent on a single carrier, could gain a wider audience through a recently approved amendment to the Farm bill, according to a report in the Journal of Commerce.
