Jim Bradford

Special Representative Jim Bradford, a member of BLET Division 566 (Del Rio, Tex.) first became a special representative in 1980 and, after a brief time away from the job, was reappointed to the position in the early 1990s.

Brother Bradford began his railroad career in 1962 as a part-time maintenance of way worker while he was in school. In 1973, he went firing and was promoted to the position of locomotive engineer in 1974. He joined the BLET in 1973.

Brother Bradford earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston in 1971.

He currently serves as Administrator for the BLET Short Term Disability Program.
